For Katy, the start of the new year has been mixed. Not mixed climbing...that just isn't her thing (and to be honest I'm not sure it is anyone's thing for much longer, given the current state of conditions that have befallen the North this winter). No, mixed because, whilst she has been out cranking it with the best, Katy  took an ickle fall, damaging her ankle.

"Oh no!" I hear you gasp....but fear not my fellow rock jocks, for she is young and bouncy.

While the ankle mends, Katy has had to settle for coursework and dreaming of her next date with the ruff stuff.  Before I go however, here, for your viewing pleasure, is a picture of the wonder girl in action. Katy is seen here climbing; 'The Storm' Font 7c/V9, at Stange Plantation, Peak District.
