Slight bends in your tent poles are normal if they are made of high quality aluminum such as those made by DAC. The properties of aluminum are good for tent poles because it makes them strong yet very lightweight and with some flex due to the shape that they are crafted into. The poles ability to flex enables it to absorb enery from the wind and also for it to curve into the shape of the tent. In some instances, the pole section may not return to its original shape (it's flexible but not made of elastic!) The pole can still be used... unless it is bent too far (say more than 45% as a rough guide).
