Extreme Photojournalist
Tiim Glasby was born in 1963 in the industrial city of Nottingham. After attending Trent University where he studied Photojournalism he decided to combine his love of Travel, Sport and Photography by working extensively in foreign regions. His words and photographs have appeared in over 40 specialist and sporting publications, encompassing over 70 front covers including: Windsurf, Tres Surf 60, Kitesurf International, Kiteworld, Parapont, Skywings, Cross Country international, Sports in the Sky, Ballooning, Outdoors, Extreme, White Water, Gripped, Rock and Ice, Climbing, Climber, High, On The Edge, Friction, Vertical, Grimper, Klettern, Desnivel and National Geographic Adventure. His work also features in both the National Press, including The Times, Sunday Times, The Observer and The Independent and also lifestyle magazines GQ Active, Loaded, Jack, Real, Chat and Front. Other areas include Equipment Brochures for leading companies in the Outdoor Industry including Wild Country, Red Chili, Scarpa, Franklin Europe, Black Diamond, Mountainworks, Marmot and The British Mountaineering Council. And in the mainstream advertising world for Sony, Motorola, Edelmans, Oakley and Killer Loop. He also regularly contributes to books ranging from Alpine Journals and Travel Guides to Children’s Books. |
